In Pirate Nation, players set their pirate crew and craft ships by playing the game or by purchasing them on the marketplace. Infinite Tides – a new roguelite game mode
Pirate Nation has just launched its newest game mode to all players called Infinite Tides. You can access the feature on the left side menu of the game screen.
Players start with a smaller deck of 12 cards based on their Expertise and Ship selections, and fight through up to 25 battles.
At the end of each battle, players have a choice to select 1 additional card to add to their deck among 3 choices (4 choices if they are a VIP member). All players get 3 free Infinite Tides entries each day (+1 more for VIP members). You can also purchase up to 3 additional entries each day.
The very 1st competition & leaderboard event for Infinite Tides kicks off this Friday (June 20th) and runs for 2 weeks. Each battle won generates a score for the run. The game tracks both the individual run score and a total score that is a combined total for all runs done during the event period.
The prizes are massive for the event:
- 2.9M $PIRATE allocated for those who rank on the ‘Total Runs’ leaderboard
- 0.5M $PIRATE allocated for those who rank on the ‘Top Runs’ leaderboard
- Founder’s Pirate Holders will get a 20% additional bonus on their $PIRATE rewards
Infinite Tides has 2 difficulties to choose from – Normal and Hard. When you feel up to the challenge, take on Hard mode and earn a higher Battle Score for each battle won!
Earning $PIRATE tokens
Overall, Pirate Nation has many PvP and PvE competitions running in the game at a given time. Players who climb the leaderboards and rank in these events get awarded $PIRATE tokens. The higher you place on the leaderboards, the bigger your rewards will be.
How to get started with Pirate Nation
- Go to Pirate Nation on DappRadar, and click “Visit dapp”
- On the official website, click “Sign in” or “Sign up”
- Connect an EVM-wallet, such as MetaMask. You can create a completely new wallet for security purposes.
- Now enter your email address to receive a 6-digit verification code. Copy and paste it to link your email address to your account.
Now you have an account and you’re ready to play.
Free vs paid: Two ways to play
Pirate Nation is a completely free-to-play game, but offers various boosts and upgrades for holding Founder’s Pirates.
- Free-to-play – Connect your Google or Discord account and a wallet. Then mint a free, soulbound Gen1 pirate which allows you to jump straight into the game.
- Founder’s Pirate – Additionally, purchase a Founder’s Pirate from the marketplace and get exclusive quests, early access to new features and 10% XP bonus.
