You always play only against another real person. Both pick number 1 or 2 and place the bet of 0.2 ETH . The first one to pick a number is setting the number to be guessed by the other player. If the other player guesses right he gets the pot of 0.4 ETH minus 0.01 ETH house fee. You will find further information for each step or action in game.
