PixelWhale

PixelWhale is the do-it-yourself NFT creator that allows artists to create 25×25 pixel-sized animations with up to 8 frames. Users can post their masterpieces for sale on the website or purchase from others. Originally dubbed Pixel Frames, it was renamed PixelWhale for its launch on the Lamden mainnet on April 19, 2021.

PixelWhale uses the native $TAU token for buying, selling, and minting NFTs. PixelWhale content is entirely on the Lamden blockchain — users have an ‘owned’ section of the website where they can view their collection of PixelWhale NFTs they’ve created or purchased.

The community has recurring auction events where an artist is commisioned to create a collection of animations. Those are then bid on by the community with the highest bid becoming the new owner.
