Octorand is a virtual world where the only form of life existing are called Octo Primes. There are only 1000 Octo Primes in existence, who are represented as unique ASAs. Each Octo Prime has 8 traits with varying degree of rareness.

OCTO is the currency of Octorand which again is represented by a ASA. It is capped at 1000000 tokens. Each Octo Prime holds a reserve of 1000 OCTO. They emit OCTO from this reserve at the rate of 0.0001 OCTO per second. The owner of Octo Prime can collect these OCTO rewards.

OCTO can be used to transform traits of Octo Primes. Transforming is the most powerful feature of Octorand. By transforming, players can turn even a mediocre Octo Prime into a super rare version. Players must spend OCTO to transform the traits. OCTO spent for transformations is burnt. This makes the OCTO token a deflationary token.

In addition to that, Octorand has a inbuilt marketplace which works in the dutch auction style. It means the price of selling begins with a high asking price, and lowers it hourly until some buyer accepts the price, or it reaches a predetermined reserve price.
