Before George Lucas, Gene Roddenberry and Steven Spielberg, there were pioneers of Science Fiction. Authors and illustrators like Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, and many more. 

The SciFi Art Anthology had it’s origins in the famous “Ackerman Collection”. Forest J. Ackerman commissioned several artists to bring to life this legendary collection. In 2000 we pared with these artists and Forry to bring these historical pieces to the public. These exciting illustrations are inspired from many classic books, magazines and films.

The collection dates back to 1910. Most illustrations started out as black/white drawings. Then these painting were commissioned and brought to life. These exciting illustrations are inspired from many classic books, magazines and films. Their’ is unique history behind every piece.”
