DRKVRS

DRKVRS: a metaverse-type project, that is a combination of an RPG game and a social media platform. It’s an extensive world with robust history and factions created according to human character archetypes. The gameplay is focused on the interaction between users and unique challenges within the story.

We focus on immersion and the quality of the experience. We’re creating a world of risky choices, where you can gain a lot and lose a lot just as in real life. Because goals and achievements only matter when the risk of failure is real. We want DRKVRS to stand out not only when it comes to exciting gameplay and a transparent economic system, but also originality. In order to do that, we have been cooperating with a group of renowned creators who have been building the DRKVRS universe, its mythology, and its atmosphere. We know that such an undertaking is a marathon, not a sprint.

Currently, we are working on the first playable location (teaser), which will be available to a large, yet still limited, group of users. More details will be revealed in Q2 of 2023.

We pay utmost attention to protecting users’ privacy. This will be possible thanks to Liminal, a privacy framework using Zero Knowledge Proofs, that is being built on Aleph Zero. The identity of our users will be protected, just like the information regarding the choices made in DRKVRS, collected resources, and completed transactions. We want to pursue the idea of ‘what happens in DRKVRS, stays in DRKVRS’.
