Welcome to Palket, a decentralized marketplace where “Pals” can exchange cryptocurrencies for real-world goods and services without intrusive KYC procedures. Palket introduces a trust-minimized, on-chain escrow system reinforced by user deposits and a rating model, which motivates fair, reliable interactions among buyers and sellers.

What Type of Pal Are You?

 – Receiver: Exchange cryptocurrency for a product or service. Simply post a request linking to the exact item you want (e.g., from an e-commerce site), then pick the best Sender bid based on price and rating.

 – Sender: Sell a product or service for cryptocurrency by posting your own offer or by bidding on a Receiver’s request. If you’re a dropshipper or merchant seeking crypto-only deals, this role is perfect for you.

Smart Contract Escrow & Deposits. All transactions and escrow actions occur on-chain via a smart contract. By locking in deposits, both parties have “skin in the game” and are incentivized to finalize the exchange honestly. Once the Receiver confirms receipt of the item or service, the contract releases funds accordingly.

Transparent & Open-Source. The smart contract code is publicly available, enabling anyone to review, verify, or even propose improvements.

Descentralized Chat Service. Palket includes a descentralized chat service based on XMTP to allow senders and receivers to exchange sensitive information privately.

No On-Chain Arbitration. Recognizing the complexity of real-world shipments, Palket opts for a self-regulated framework driven by user ratings and financial incentives.
