Hungry Degens

Hungry Degens is a Web3-native gaming and NFT ecosystem operated by Cooking Labs Limited, designed around progression-based gameplay, real utility, and sustained user engagement. The project centers on character-based NFTs that represent different archetypes of crypto participants, each participating in an on-chain ecosystem where actions, strategy, and continued participation determine outcomes.

The ecosystem is powered by $DUST, a utility token used across core gameplay mechanics including farming, upgrades, consumables, and in-game purchases. $DUST features built-in sink and burn mechanisms, such as pack purchases and gameplay actions, to support long-term sustainability and reduce reliance on speculative incentives.

Entry into Hungry Degens is facilitated through NFTs, including both standard NFTs and a lower-cost “Degen Lite” option to reduce onboarding friction while preserving gameplay depth. Rather than free airdrops, the project adopts a participation-based model where users acquire NFTs or in-game assets to access and progress within the ecosystem.
