Boosting is now available for all DappRadar users, benefiting developers and their communities alike. Anybody can complete Quests, earn rewards, level up their account, while also acquiring Boosting Power, or simply BP. Users discover projects on DappRadar, but they now also get to support the projects they love. Discover, earn rewards, boost and repeat this cycle every two weeks.
Boosting is also crucial to developers. The more BP the community puts behind a project, the bigger their vote of confidence. Moreover, projects high in the leaderboard get increased visibility, attract a bigger audience, and the Top 3 projects win ad impressions on DappRadar, newsletter mentions and a special Quest to invite users to explore their project.
Boosting Power explained
With the introduction of our Boosting system, anybody can acquire Boosting Power to push their favorite projects up the leaderboards. BP is a soft-currency on DappRadar, which users can purchase or acquire through active participation and interaction with the DappRadar platform.
Anybody with a DappRadar account can acquire BP, which then shows in their Boosting dashboard. Users can then allocate their BP to one or multiple Web3 projects. The more BP a project receives, the higher it will end up in the Boosted Rankings. After every 2-week cycle the top 3 projects in the Boosted Rankings will be hailed as new champions of the DappRadar community.
After that all allocated Boosting Power resets, and the Boosted Rankings get a fresh start.
Boosting is fun and levels up user accounts
Boosting Power gives users, and therefore also active Web3 participants, the ability to promote their favorite projects. Through the various ways users acquire BP, they can level up their DappRadar account or receive a juicy APY on their staked RADAR tokens. Moreover, we envision that dapp developers will want their community to utilize their Boosting Power, and even reward them for doing so. While we also expect users to boost their own bags.
DappRadar offers the Web3 community various ways to get Boosting Power.
- DappRadar PRO members receive BP equal to the amount of RADAR they have staked.
- Anybody can earn BP by engaging with DappRadar and leveling up their account, for example by completing Quests.
- In the future we will introduce more ways to get BP, like purchasing, partnerships etc. Stay tuned for more announcements!
If you are a PRO member, you can already start boosting your favorite projects. Those who aren’t PRO yet, can receive their first BP by completing the introductory Quest. Users can use their BP in the Boosting dashboard.
For the first time ever, users can apply Boosting Power to more than one dapp at the time. For the first 5 projects boosted during a boosting cycle, users will earn 50 XP per boost. That’s 250 XP during every cycle, and 500 XP per month!
BP supports and empowers developers
Any DappRadar users can acquire Boosting Power and apply this to one or more dapps at the time. The more BP the community puts behind a project, the higher it will rank in the Boosted Rankings. These unique community-powered rankings get additional visibility through social media and newsletters, while the best performing dapps get free ad impressions, a badge on their profile, and a special Quest to highlight their product.
We invite developers to ensure that they have listed their dapps through the developer dashboard. Only projects listed on DappRadar can be part of the Boosted Rankings, which resets after every 2-week cycle.
Boosting Power on DappRadar gives developers…

This means that developers, DAOs and other teams are motivated to activate their community to participate. They can run their own campaigns to receive the support of the DappRadar community, and even reward those who boost.
After the 2-week period the boosting cycle ends, scores reset, and users can once again try to get their favorite projects to the top of the charts.
Developers will be able to acquire Boosting Power through the same methods users can receive BP. Developers can also receive it as a benefit from the Fast Track service when listing their new dapp, or in the near future through a premium subscription for developers. Of course, purchasing BP is also an option.

What is Boosting?
Boosting is a feature that lets communities come together to support their favorite projects on DappRadar. By boosting a project, you help it gain extra visibility and benefits across the platform. It’s a great way for projects to engage with their communities, and for users to have a tangible impact on the projects they love.
How do I get Boosting Power (BP)?
You can get BP in a few different ways: by staking RADAR (1 RADAR = 1 BP), purchasing it as part of the Fast-Track package, or earning it through events like Quests on DappRadar. We’re also planning to add more ways for you to earn or acquire BP, so stay tuned!
How does Boosting work?
At the start of each cycle, your Boosting Power is determined by the amount of RADAR you’re staking, and the BP you’ve earned through Quests and other activities.You can apply your BP to your favorite projects by Boosting them. You can boost as many projects as you want, as long as you have BP to spend. Once BP is allocated, you can’t remove it until the cycle ends. In the Boosted Rankings you can see which projects are leading the cycle.
Which project can be boosted?
Community members can boost almost every dapp or project listed on DappRadar. They can boost DeFi platforms, games and SocialFi platforms. However, boosting is not allowed for dapps categorized as High-Risk.
What is a Boosting Cycle?
Boosting Cycles are 2-week periods during which you can allocate your BP to support projects. At the end of each cycle, the BP resets, rankings are updated, and the top projects are recognized. It’s a fresh start every two weeks, so projects need ongoing support to stay at the top.
How long is a Boosting Cycle?
Every Boosting Cycle lasts 2 weeks, or 14 days. Every cycle ends on Wednesday (UTC), and the new cycle starts immediately after.
What is the cooldown period?
Projects that ended in the Top 3 of a Boosting Cycle will enter a cooldown period. This means that the community can’t boost these projects during the next cycle. For example, a project ends in the top 3 during cycle 1, then users can’t boost them in the next cycle. However, when cycle 3 starts, the cooldown period ends, and boosting opens again for these projects.
Can I change my Boosting allocation during a cycle?
No, once you’ve allocated BP to a project during a cycle, it’s locked in. However, you can always add more BP if you want to further support a project. When the cycle ends, your BP resets, and you can reallocate it however you like.
Why should I boost a project?
Boosting gives dapps more visibility on the DappRadar platform. You show support to a project. Moreover, for every 5 boosts you earn XP every cycle. This means that boosting also unlocks rewards for you.
What are the benefits for projects that get boosted?
Projects that receive a lot of BP gain higher visibility on DappRadar, with special placements and indicators that highlight them to other users. This can drive more traffic and engagement. Plus, the top three projects each cycle win promotional packages, including ad impressions, social media mentions, and more—giving them even greater exposure.
What happens to my BP at the end of a cycle?
At the end of each 2-week cycle, all BP that’s been allocated resets. For the new cycle, your BP is once again determined based on the BP you’ve earned from activities on DappRadar, and the amount of $RADAR you’ve staked.
Does Boosting Power expire?
Yes, it can. It depends on the way BP is obtained:
- Boosting Power acquired from Quests, partnerships or marketing activities can have an expiration date. BP that’s active at the beginning of a boosting cycle will remain valid until the cycle ends.
- Boosting Power obtained from staking RADAR for the PRO membership will never expire. PRO members receive 1 BP for every staked RADAR.
- Purchased BP remains valid for a total of X months since the time of purchase.
Can I boost multiple projects?
Yes! You can boost as many projects as you want during a cycle. There’s no limit to how many projects you can support with your Boosting Power (BP).
What’s the best strategy for using my BP?
The best strategy depends on your goals! You might want to spread your BP across multiple projects to support various dapps you believe in. Or, if you want to make a significant impact, you could focus most of your BP on one or two key projects. Keep an eye on the rankings to see where your BP can make the biggest difference.
Can unstaking $RADAR affect my Boosting Power?
Unstaking $RADAR affects your Boosting Power, but it only impacts the BP at the start of a new cycle. If you begin a cycle with$ RADAR staked, you’ll retain that BP for the entire duration of the cycle, even if you trigger an unstake during that time. However, if your RADAR is in the cooldown period and the cooldown finishes before a new cycle starts, you will have 0 BP for that new cycle. Essentially, the amount of BP you start with at the beginning of a cycle will remain unchanged until the cycle ends, regardless of any staking changes made during the cycle.
How can projects encourage their community to boost them?
Projects can create events or contests around boosting to incentivize their community to get involved. They can also offer rewards to top boosters, creating a fun and engaging way to rally their supporters. Additionally, projects can communicate the benefits of being a top boosted project, such as increased visibility and the potential to win promotional packages.
How does the Boosting Multiplier work?
Premium dapps earn 1.8× more Boosting Power for their projects.
