DappRadar is excited to welcome Bahamut to the World’s Dapp Store, making projects and dapps building on this open ecosystem discoverable to the wider Web3 community. Bahamut utilizes a novel consensus mechanism that’s more rewarding to those who actively participate.
DappRadar already tracks more than 16,000 dapps across 64 different blockchains, and we are excited to welcome Bahamut, a smart-contract-enabled DLT platform consisting of three different layers. Bahamut is the mainnet, while it taps into Caravan for smart contract executions. Furthermore, the consensus layer Bedouin provides stability to the network.
Its Proof-of-Stake and Activity (POSA) adds an extra layer of security to the widely adopted Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism. Not only does the network look at the staked amount on the network validator, but it also takes the node’s activity into consideration. POSA puts emphasis on network participants who deliver value to their users through consistent block rewards.
Web3 explorers who want to discover more about the Bahamut ecosystem, will find various points of interest here on DappRadar. Developers building on Bahamut can list their dapps for free on DappRadar, making their products findable for the entire Web3 community. This also means you can find these projects through the DappRadar Rankings.
In addition, DeFi enthusiasts can find detailed information about the ecosystem and various decentralized finance platforms through the DeFi rankings. Finally, the Bahamut ecosystem hub will offer the community a wonderful starting point to discover new, upcoming and trending projects.
Discover projects built on Bahamut
Visitors of DappRadar can now find dapps and DeFi protocols built on Bahamut through the project pages and the rankings. Users who make an account, can filter and sort dapps based on various industry-leading metrics. Moreover, DappRadar PRO members have access to advanced filter options and additional time frames, allowing them to dive deeper into the data. Among the most popular dapps on Bahamut, you will find the following:
First Fisher
First Fisher is a Web3 game on the Bahamut blockchain, where players need to catch ‘Dzooks’ (fish in Armenian) while completing simple tasks.
SilkSwap
A decentralized exchange on the Bahamut blockchain where users can swap tokens and provide liquidity.
Mutuari
A lending and borrowing protocol built on Bahamut.
The FTN token and staking on Bahamut
Even though Bahamut is an ecosystem on its own, it actually inherits the token from Fastex Chain. The FastToken (FTN) serves as the foundation for the Bahamut ecosystem, and it powers all network and cross-chain operations (Ethereum and Fastex). In addition, the FTN allows for block reward mechanisms, incentivizing network participation by validators. Anybody can stake their FTN tokens with a validator to help maintain the network and earn rewards.
