Blockchain Life 2025 has come to an end, and the event managed to make headlines with their record attendance and the keynote speech from Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram. The 15th edition of the event attracted 16,730 attendees from 130 countries, setting a new record for the leading crypto forum in Dubai.
Because this was the 15th edition of Blockchain Life, the organization united industry pioneers, major companies and innovative projects. During the event over 160 speakers took the stage, including global leaders and representatives of companies like Mastercard, Tether, Ripple, Animoca Brands, Mysten Labs, and of course DappRadar.
The talk of town
One of the key highlights of the forum was the appearance of Pavel Durov, Founder of Telegram, who took the stage for a long-awaited announcement. During his speech, Durov introduced the launch of Cocoon, an L2 network on top of the TON blockchain and tailored for decentralized AI technologies.
In addition, DappRadar’s CSO and co-founder Dragos Dunica was one of the speakers during a panel discussion about ‘The Future of Onchain Analytics: How Data Is Rewriting The Web3 Playbook’. Alongside representatives of Glassnode, CoinMarketCap and Coingape, Dunica emphasized the importance of data as a way to curate applications and tokens.
Blockchain Life show floor and events
Aside from the presentations and discussion panels, Blockchain Life 2025 also offered an extensive exhibition space. Leading companies like OKX, Bybit, Ledger, Trust Wallet, Canaan and Bitmain filled the 200 booths on the show floor. The event also attracted over 300 side events where participants could enjoy various shows and networking opportunities.
Per tradition, the 15th edition of Blockchain Life closed with the Official Afterparty at Club Iris. Over 1,300 guests enjoyed an all-inclusive evening with fine dining, a vibrant show program, and a performance by Akon.
