RavenQuest Guide: How to Earn $QUEST with Bounties, Guild Wars & Silver Trading

Robert Hoogendoorn

Every Web3 game allows players to earn something from their efforts, but it requires a good quality game to offer a sustainable economy. RavenQuest is an MMORPG that has been in development for years, and now opened up its game world to the entire gaming community. In this article we take a look at ways to earn $QUEST by playing RavenQuest.

RavenQuest is a pixelated MMORPG in the style of Tibia. However, this MMO is actually a Web3-infused version of RavenDawn, a self-published online role playing game with 220,000 monthly active users.

Players can experience a dynamically changing game world filled with lore, quests, puzzles, player choice, a player-driven economy and of course PVP. RavenQuest’s gameplay gives gamers as much freedom as possible, letting them choose how to earn, improve and grow their character. Trading? Uncovering mysteries? Selling goods? Farming? Collecting taxes? Being a pirate? The choice is yours.

How to customize your character

Gamers have lots of ways to customize their characters. Through customization you can optimize your character for certain professions or gameplay styles.

Archetypes

Players have 8 archetypes of choose from, and likely more will follow. However, players can combine up to 3 archetypes at once, which allows them to completely customize their play style. You can be a Wizard with some abilities from a rogue (Shadow) and healer (Holy).

RavenCards

Players can purchase, earn or trade RavenCards. These play cards come in different rarities, and allow players to add a boost to a certain spell or skill.

Professions

In the game world, players can find different professions, including gathering, wood chopping, mining, but also cooking, blacksmithing and weaving. It’s very time consuming to do them all, but professions do add more diversity to your gameplay, and professions can help you to personalize your game experience.

Equipment

Like in any MMORPG, players can find, earn or trade new equipment. As always, equipment comes with different ability enhancements. Moreover, players can increase the power of their equipment through infusion or enchantments.

Reputation

Through quests, crafting and participating in random world events, players can build a reputation with one of the many groups in the game world. Building your reputation can unlock new opportunities, but it can also close others.

How does QUEST work in RavenQuest?

QUEST is the onchain premium currency in RavenQuest. Players can use these tokens to purchase a monthly premium membership, acquire cosmetics or effort potions, adopt companions for your estate, or simply to purchase silver.

RavenQuest QUEST token ecoystem

Players can earn Quest through the following activities:

  • Completing bounties
  • Guild Wars and leaderboards
  • Exchanging silver for QUEST
How to earn silver in RavenQuest, and how to spend QUEST tokens

Earning QUEST through bounties

Within the game world you will find the Bounty Board. Every day new Daily Bounties will appear here. These bounties will provide players with various in-game rewards, but also have a chance of rewarding QUEST. Players who have a good reputation in the game world, have a bigger chance of getting a QUEST bounty. This reputation is measured through the Renown System.

The amount of QUEST you can earn through bounties will be adjusted, in an effort to manage the flow of QUEST into the ecosystem. Some bounty quests are really about content, while others are based on ‘recycling’. Players then need to deposit a certain amount of materials to complete the bounty quest. This allows the team to have some control over the in-game resource economy.

Guild Wars and PVP rewards

RavenQuest isn’t only about lore and PVE, because there’s a big competitive component to it. Players can join a guild, and guilds can then compete in Guild Wars. This allows guilds and its players to earn QUEST.

Players who are active in other competitive PVP events or world events, earn points to climb the leaderboards. These leaderboards also come with rewards. There’s a seasonal leader, and there’s a weekly leaderboard as well.

Exchanging silver for QUEST

Out of all the ways to earn QUEST, this is probably the most accessible one. Players can earn silver for all kinds of activities, ranging from killing mobs, to crafting items, trading on the marketplace, or completing quests. Virtually every in-game activity earns you silver, including but not limited to:

  • Professions, such as crafting weapons, armor, food, ships etc.
  • Gathering resources, through mining, gathering herbs, wood cutting etc.
  • Killing creatures and bosses in PVE combat
  • Story quests
  • Dynamic, environmental quests
  • World puzzles and hidden treasures

How much QUEST you receive for your silver, depends on the demand in the game world. There’s no fixed conversion rate between silver and QUEST tokens.

Build up your Fame

When you reach the higher levels in RavenQuest, Fame will become more prominent. Fame gives your earnings a boost, and only the most involved and active players receive Fame. You can earn Fame through:

  • Bounties on the Adventurer’s Board
  • Collecting Culled Eyes
  • Engage with Aether Rifts
  • Transport Tradepacks
  • Delving into Dungeons etc.

As you accumulate Fame, you’ll unlock access to exclusive content, events, and rewards, solidifying your status as a legendary figure in the RavenQuest universe. Your Total Fame is then multiplied by your Renown Multiplier, creating a powerful synergy that determines your total earnings in $QUEST. This system ensures that your efforts and contributions are recognized and rewarded, allowing gamers to thrive in the world of RavenQuest.

Tips to earn more in RavenQuest

Making money, or silver, in RavenQuest is easy. However, as you level up costs will increase dramatically. Here we provide a few tips to improve your earning potential.

1. Cooking to level 10

We advise you to level up your cooking skills to level 10, because that allows you to make food for your Moa. Your Moa is a ridable bird that allows you to travel faster through the game world. However, this mount needs to be fed and purchasing 1,000 energy points for your Moa costs 1,000 silver. That means that you can save a lot of money and increase your skills, simply by cooking the Moa rations yourself and farming the corn and potatoes you’d need.

2. Sell at the Collector

RavenQuest is filled with vendors, but these NPC only sell items. If you want to empty your bags, go to Ravencrest and find the Collector. This character is on the top left of the teleport point in RavenCrest. Here you can sell all your items for silver.

3. No shame in grinding a profession

In RavenQuest you can find many professions and activities. When it comes to the professions, it’s an option to truly specialize and level up two or three professions. As you reach higher levels and unlock rare craftable items, or gain the ability to gather rare resources, your work will be in demand. That way your in-game efforts can earn you silver, which you can exchange for QUEST, which of course has a real-world value. Yes, you could be a professional woodcutter, without ever cutting a real log.

4. Complete your daily Adventurer’s Board quests

Logging daily helps. Those who are looking to earn, should definitely complete their daily quests from the Adventurer’s Board. It’s time consuming, but you will level up skills and your character in the process. Moreover, these quests come with juicy rewards, leaderboard rankings, improve your reputation, and therefore heavily increase your chances of earning QUEST.

5. Own NFT land and manage it

If you acquire an Estate, use it to produce resources like crops or animals. These can be sold for silver or turned into Tradepacks. In addition, landowners earn a portion of $QUEST generated in the game.
