4K is a decentralized protocol that will safely and securely bring humanity’s most cherished assets on-chain, unlocking new financial primitives, decentralizing markets and expanding personal freedoms.

The 4K Protocol coordinates a global network of physical vaults (Guardians), service providers (appraisers, authenticators and auditors), and on-chain mechanisms, to safely and securely bridge the physical and digital worlds.

The Protocol enables anyone to bring physical assets on-chain as a physically-backed token in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT). That NFT acts as a digital certificate that represents a physical asset in the real world.
