About Akashi Notari
Akashi Notari is a simple and private dApp for creating an on-chain Proof of Existence for any file. It allows you to verify and timestamp any file on the blockchain, proving that your data existed at a specific point in time.
The process is designed for maximum privacy: the file’s SHA-256 hash is generated locally in your browser, and the file itself never leaves your computer or gets uploaded to any server.
How It Works:
- Select File: A SHA-256 hash is computed locally in your browser.
- Connect Wallet: Use MetaMask or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet.
- Transact: Click to write the file’s hash to the VerifierRegistry smart contract.
Immediately after the transaction, you can download a formal PDF certificate containing the filename, the file hash, your wallet address, the precise timestamp, the network name, and a link to the on-chain transaction.
Key Features:
- Privacy First: No file uploads are required.
- Instant Certificate: Receive a verifiable PDF certificate.
- Multi-Network: Supports Base, Ethereum Mainnet, and Optimism.
- Easy Verification: Anyone can look up an existing proof using only the transaction hash (or explorer URL) to re-generate the certificate.
