Animus

Animus is building at the frontier of open-source agentic robotics. We believe the path to widespread adoption of AI agents isn’t through screens, but through embodied systems — physical machines with presence, identity, and soul.

Putting agents into physical systems is the unlock that will move AI from abstract software to tangible companions in the home, ushering in the next wave of human–machine coexistence. Our framework transforms agents from passive tools into sovereign beings. They develop character, reveal inner states, and act with a sense of presence that feels alive.

The same Animus personality can exist across different forms — a robot, an avatar, or a smart device — remaining the same individual while adapting to each new way of interacting.
