About a decade ago ChainVille was a peaceful place. Devtective ran the streets, and The Mobsters hid away in fear of Devtective and his crew of Chaintectives. As Devtective grew older and his imminent retirement grew closer, he knew he had to make a choice. He had to chose one of his Chaintectives to take over for him and train them to be just as ruthless as he was… So, Devtective left town… He vanished with his protégé. He knew that if The Mobsters got word of who he was training they would target him and have him whacked.
