The Envelope is a decentralized escrow platform designed to bring trust and transparency to Web3 transactions.
Built on Optimism (Layer 2) and supporting multi-stablecoin payments such as USDT, USDC, and LINK, The Envelope enables buyers and sellers to transact securely without intermediaries.

Each escrow is handled by a smart contract that automatically locks the payment until both parties confirm completion. In case of disputes, an admin or third-party arbitrator can be assigned to mediate the transaction through the platform’s built-in arbitration system.

Beyond secure payments, The Envelope introduces anonymous decentralized chat between buyers and sellers using IPFS-based communication, maintaining privacy while allowing both parties to resolve details in real time.

The platform charges a transparent 3% escrow fee, which can be shared between buyer and seller and automatically routed to the admin wallet upon escrow release.
