Flipsies

Flipsies is a game you won’t find in any casino but a known gambling game nevertheless, often played at the end of private games. Flipsies is a fixture throughout underground card games, often going by coin-flip, shoots or other bynames. This is the first time (known to us) that flipsies has appeared online and we could think of no better way to launch than on the TRON blockchain.

Most of the players think that they can be cheated on an online casino, they are right in most cases. It is, technically, very easy for an online casino to cheat you. In the crypto gambling world we have a solution called provably fair, this allows for total transparency through implementing smart contracts. Smart contracts contain a set of rules that cannot be tampered with and are automatically enforced. Any party can audit these smart contracts because they are public. Our random number generators are executed on these smart contracts which means it is technically impossible for them to be rigged, in any way.

In flipsies both you and your opponent have an equal chance at winning the hand. We added an optional side bet where you can bet on the majority color of the suits on the flop(2 or more of either red or black), this is often played in private poker games. Flipsies follows standard Texas Holdem hand rankings, these rankings are provided in the drop down menu on the upper right hand corner of the game.

Step 1: You are dealt two cards and the house also gets dealt two cards.

Step 2: Select the size of your flip bet(poker hand) and your flop color bet, there is no further betting.

Step 3: The flop(first 3 cards), turn(4th card) and river(5th card) are run out- these are the community cards.

Step 4: Whoever makes the best 5 card hand wins the flip. If it’s a draw(tie), the pot gets split equally.
