What is fraktion.art?

It’s an open source protocol that can be used by anyone who wishes to fraktionalise or break into parts an NFT token on Solana. 

It was built on top of the Metaplex code by the FRAKT team.

What is fraktionalisation?

Fractionalisation is the act of breaking an NFT into fraktions. 

In short, the protocol locks the NFT in a vault and emits SPL tokens representing parts of the original NFT. 

Those SPL tokens are emitted to the owner of the original NFT so they own all the fraktions of the original NFT. 

Why fraktionalise NFTs? 

Thanks to our full DEX integration with Raydium and Serum, anyone who fraktionalizes their NFT is capable of actively trading those fraktions or to swap them instantly.

Unlocking the liquidity tied up in NFTs solves two problems for two distinct groups of people:

it helps free up capital for NFT owners who wish to get more liquidity to pursue other ventures

it lowers the barrier to entry to the NFT ecosystems and allows anyone to own fraktions of any NFT that has been fraktionalized
