Marcobuds Game

The Marcobuds game is a space racing game where only players with Marcobuds NFT’s can participate and win MATIC tokens. The game is fully decentralized. 

Participation 

Any MarcoBuds NFT holder can participate in the game. When you join a game, you will be required to add MATIC tokens as an entry fee. The entry fee will be determined later (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 MATIC). This is a multiplayer game and the 4 players are required before a game will start. The game will not start until 4 players join. The players do not need to be online as the MarcoBuds race each other. The game will start immediately when the fourth player joins.

Winning 

The winner is selected via a randomized algorithm which is based off-chain and uses Chainlinks Verifiable Random Function (VRF). However, one factor that increases the chance of winning is the amount of time a MarcoBuds NFT plays. The longer time a MarcoBuds NFT spends playing, the more valuable it becomes as it raises the chance of winning within the randomization framework. For example, Player A joined 40 total game matches and thus has a slightly higher chance of winning than Player B who joined 35 games. So, the more games a player joins, the odds of winning increases slightly.

However, in later phases, MarcoBuds upgrade mechanisms might be added. This would allow players to have a higher chance to win the match by introducing additional factors to train their MarcoBuds.

Losing 

Everyone is a winner! Not only does the winner earn MATIC but those who lose the race will also get back a percentage of their MATIC as well.

The recent played games will be available for the public to watch. So, anyone can visit and watch the game at any time.
