Portami Delivery is here to disrupt and decentralize the gig economy with our peer-to-peer food delivery platform. Our mission is to empower both customers and delivery drivers by eliminating excessive fees and providing equitable earning opportunities. We strive to create a platform where everyone benefits: customers enjoy low fees for delivery, while drivers receive the entirety of the delivery fee.

How does Portami Delivery plan to be trustless and decentralized? Portami uses a novel idea to hold cryptocurrency as collateral until the order is completed. This will prevent the customer from taking advantage of the driver and prevent the driver from stealing the order. It also puts more responsibility on the driver and customer to ensure that the delivery request is successful. 

Here is how Portami Delivery will work:

Customers use our platform to request deliveries. They provide:

1. Pickup location
2. Drop-off location (usually their home)
3. Desired delivery fee
4. Collateral amount (necessary for placing and accepting orders, refunded upon successful completion)

Drivers can:

• See pending orders by postal code
• Accept orders, progressing to “Delivery Accepted”
• Move orders to “Order Picked Up” and eventually “Order Delivered”

After the request is set to Order Delivererd:

1. Customers complete the order, refunding the collateral to both parties
2. Delivery fees go to the driver
