Preon is a decentralized omnichain 0% interest CDP protocol allowing users to borrow against their crypto. Loans are paid out in STAR, our (USD pegged stablecoin) with a minimum maintained collateral ratio of 110%. Preon accepts multiple token types as collateral, making STAR available to a wide range of users. To maintain STAR’s peg stability and over-collateralization, STAR can be deposited into a stability pool. STAR that’s deposited is burned for liquidated collateral during liquidations.
