About Attest Protocol
Attest Protocol is a decentralized infrastructure for creating, managing, and verifying attestations on-chain. It allows individuals, organizations, and agents to issue verifiable claims (attestations) about other identities, data, or actions, using cryptographic proofs.
Core Concepts:
Attestations: Verifiable statements about a subject (e.g., “This wallet passed KYC” or “This AI agent is authorized to transact”).
Schemas: Structured templates that define the format and content of attestations, ensuring data consistency and validation.
Delegated Attestations: A feature that lets one party (e.g., a notary or organization) issue attestations on behalf of another, using cryptographic delegation (via BLS key pairs).
BLS Cryptography: Used to bind a public key to a wallet address immutably, enabling secure delegated signing.
Resolvers: Smart contracts that allow attestations to be validated or consumed by other protocols or systems.Purpose:
Our objective is to enable on-chain identity and verification workflows without needing centralized intermediaries. Serve as a trust layer between wallets, apps, and services.
Support use cases like KYC, proof of humanity, access control, verifiable actions, AI agent authorization, and more.
