Telegram Gifts

Telegram introduced a secure in-app marketplace where users can safely buy and sell collectible gifts using Telegram Stars (the platform’s internal currency). Key features include:

Browse rare gifts: Thousands of collectibles, including previously “upgraded” items, searchable via advanced filters (model, backdrop, symbol).

Easy resale: Users tap “Sell” on any gift in their profile, set a Star-price, and it becomes listed. A “Sale” label is added; tap “Unlist” to cancel. 

Streamlined gifting: Send gifts by visiting a user’s profile and tapping “Send a Gift”, then apply the “Resale” filter to buy rare items. 

Released alongside the marketplace are several powerful creator tools:      

Multi‑story posts: Select and publish multiple photos or videos at once—ideal for travel highlights or themed uploads.       

Auto‑split videos: Clips longer than 60 seconds are automatically segmented into multiple story posts, improving user experience.
