The saga begins the moment you buy the lone Key and take it from its current owner. 70% of that payment swells the jackpot, 10% streams into a dividend pool for all past key holders, and 10 % rewards a valid referrer.

As soon as the key changes hands the price goes up by 0.4% and resets a countdown “HODL timer.” That timer starts at 24h + one extra minute for every time the key has moved. It maxes out at 48 hours, so sooner or later the sands run out.

Every purchase also mints you an NFT key receipt called a dividend shard, that tracks your stake of the ever growing dividend pool. So even if someone takes the key from you, you win passive income. For this reason people are buying the key as many times as possible while it’s cheap because the key could eventually cost 500K to hold and 10% goes into the dividend pool.   

Eventually  The price of the key will be so high that the HODL timer hits zero, only the current and previous Key holders advance to a final, on-chain Prisoner’s Dilemma. In secret they each choose split or steal.

If both choose split then they share the hoard. If one steals while the other splits then the thief scoops it all. But if greed dazzles both players and Both choose to steal then the entire jackpot rains down on every past Key holder, the more dividend shards you hold, the more of that jackport airdrop will be yours. All outcomes are provably fair on-chain.
