Web3Radio

SpaghettETH and YOMI present web3radio, a community radio built on decentralized tools. Access is token-gated via the SpaghettETH Passport SBT, with login options via browser wallet or web2 (Google/Apple) thanks to the MEGO stack. The player auto-detects live streams, falling back to a community playlist when none are active. SBT holders can upload tracks or podcasts via IPFS, Swarm, or even Google Drive—web3radio.it stores nothing. Users can also schedule livestreams via a calendar interface, with support for HLS, Twitch, YouTube, Livepeer, and more.

While we’ve chosen a centralized frontend and link relay for smoother onboarding, our goal is a fully decentralized stack. The SBT includes moderation tools to comply with the EU Digital Services Act. Proxy contracts simplify access and cover gas fees for users unfamiliar with Web3. Coming in V2: decentralized ad slots voted on by the community, and smarter playlist logic balancing popularity, diversity, and freshness. Want to help shape the future?
