How does the game work? What’s “Spot the Ball” and why do we offer it? How is the winner decided?

At WinX.io, we have implemented an age-old classic called “Spot the Ball.” This game used to be played in newspapers, where players marked off where they believed the ball was placed in an image from which the ball had been removed. The players closest to guessing the ball’s location would win.

“Spot the Ball” requires you to use your skill and judgement to decide where you think the centre of the ball should be. Your chosen points will be recorded as (x, y) coordinates, securely hashed on the competition smart contract and revealed once competitions end.

At the conclusion of the competition, our smart contract will autonomously identify the coordinates that are closest to the predetermined location securely stored within the smart contract. The participant with the closest coordinates to the target position will be declared the winner and awarded the corresponding prize associated with their winning ticket.
